Environment
We want to start making changes to our environment except our beaches. Our world is slowly dying due to climate changes and we believe that we need to put a stop to it or slow down the process. Scientists are chaining themselves to the White House fences to push upon officials to begin the positive changes. We feel that the situation should lend itself to where people start chaining themselves to government properties to make their point. Our party is all from the west coast and we love our ocean. We also want to make a change to all the pollution that goes into the ocean and how many species are getting killed because of it and our coral reefs are dying.
Gun Control
We want more safe gun laws. 321 innocent people are shot everyday. We have seen an increase in school shootings along with other public places in which guns are abused and held illegally. We support the Constitution amendment of the “Right to bear arms”, but we feel changes should be made in order to stop the selling of automatic weapons such as deeper background checks because guns are easy to get ahold of at the moment no matter who you are.
Abortion Rights
We want abortions to stay legal because we feel it’s wrong to get rid of that option for women. We feel many woman who have been victimized by rape and incest and have become impregnated by the abuser should have the right to have a legal abortion as well as people who are not in the right financial state. We would like to see some changes to the law in which abortion is legal within the first 12 weeks of pregancy before the development of the fetus for any women wanting it for any reason.
Health Care
We want our health care to be free. 1 in 10 adults have medical bill debt in the United States.Other countries have free healthcare. Why don’t we? This is something to look at because we do have Obamacare, but that only applies to a certain income levels which quite honestly does not apply to everyone.
Gay Rights
We believe people should be able to love who they want to love and it really doesn’t concern us personally so why should we control other’s lives. We rather see programs that teach awareness and understanding of the differences of others.
